I'm a speech pathologist with 10 years of experience and a mommy to 3 little ones, Milo, Elliot, and Jocelyn.
I've always been intrigued by how our brains learn language. I studied Linguistics and Child Language Development at Cornell University, and received my Masters in Speech and Hearing Sciences at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Even with all that education, becoming a mother taught me so much.
When my younger son Elliot was late with his talking, it felt like I would never hear his little voice. I realized I had to kick all of my knowledge into high gear. I gathered everything I knew as a professional and as a mom to create an effective process to get him talking.
